I’ve never heard of any of these dudes, but it’s kinda fresh. I guess they all reside in different areas, and have collaborated to bring you that Certain Sound. MC Nico B spits the smooth consciousness, while Flesh O.N.E. cuts shit up over Polyphonic’s dirty underground beats. The trio seem to blend together like one mind, which makes for a very cohesive album. With nine tracks, this album is the perfect length for this particular venture. There isn’t much variety in the mixture of songs but it doesn’t matter because the album just seems to flow. Although the underground is getting saturated, this trio seems to have an idea what they want to accomplish.
