Juba Dance "Double Dutch Hymns"

Despite what you might hear on this track, Chicago-based Juba Dance is not a Hip-Hop act. Mixing Soul, Jazz, and Blues, with beats influenced by Hip-Hop, Electro, glitchy Electronica and more their album 'Orange,' out now on Audio8 Records, is really the epitome of the "urban alternative" style of music which gave my radio show it's name. The track "Double Dutch Hymns," a tough Old-School Rap jam with big drums, a huge Post-Punk bassline, and school-girl chants, is stupid-fresh.
