Polyphonic the Verbose

For someone trained in the traditional sounds of everything from classic
European piano to Indonesian gamelan music, it's striking just how futuristic
the output of Polyphonic the Verbose can be. With his exploratory debut, he
churns out super-glitchy instrumentals, outright progressive hip-hop, and a
little dub. Despite numerous technology-inspired tracks like "Container Life #473"
and "Orange Alert Mental Pattern," Polyphonic isn't all about futurism. The anti-
materialism diabtribe "Land Rovers in the Video" featuring MC Marty Mar is proof
that he is also very capable of focusing on the here and now.
