Sunn tha Sarkastic and the scratched abstractions of
Flesh O.N.E., all balanced by the transcendental flute and clarinet work of
AM Overtone. The quartet, hailing from both San Francisco and Chicago, first appeared together leading a 12 person ensemble on Dolce Stil Nuovo’s “
Infrastructure” album. Here they have created a dark dubbed-out atmosphere charged with the political and artistic concerns of their generation.
